Everytime i press the "ON' button, the computer starts to beep, and it sounds as if there is a motor or fan, running pretty fast. The screen is also blank. I think the sequencing for the beeps is 1-3-2, which would indicate a memory ...They can't get in here, just the beeping. And I told Garcia I'm taking a few days off, so she's not going to try to contact me, I hope. What if my computer isn't safe? She contacts me all the time and if someone can hack in they can ...Security ? Macbook beeping for no apparent reason AVForumscom

I looked up the beep codes and I don't think that's what this is. The beeps are my computer's alert sound , once every five seconds for up to 10 minutes. Firefox has been running every time this has happened and today I noticed ...No time for that now, the computer's starting.Need help with your Apple Macintosh or your Windows PC?
